Duct leakage will reduce the air quantity in a system and also the efficiency in which it operates. The proper installation and sealing of ductwork can cut leakage down which results in a substantial operating cost savings. Duct Leakage is calculated by pressurizing ductwork to a predetermined static pressure based on specifications provided by SMACNA, then calculating the amount of Cubic Feet/Minute passing through an orifice plate. Based on the ductworks ability to hold a specific level of static pressure the test is the given a passing or failing mark.
With our duct pressure testing methods we are able to quickly identify leaks and assist the contractor to efficiently remedy them.
Tip #1:
Change filters every six to eight months. Did you know that dirty air filters can lead to Dirty Air? Dirty air filled will allergens like pollen and mold can lead to sick time in the work place. Sick time means reduced productivity… do we need to go on?
